Living Ocean Exhibition

13 November 2024/in /by Anna-Lee
Start date: 10 January 2025
End date: 30 January 2025
Time: 12:00 am - 12:00 am
Location: Linton and Kay Gallery 2/40 Marine Parade Cottesloe

The artworks in the exhibition take the viewer on a journey from the waters edge, through the sunlight shallows, into the seagrass meadows and out to the fringing reef. Stunning nature studies of everything from plankton, marine plants to reef fish and everything in between will make you want to go for a snorkel to rediscover these wonders for yourself all over again.

The exhibition is designed to delight as well as educate. Interpretive signage gives insights into the incredible diversity of plants and animals to encourage children and the wider community to become curious about these natural treasures.

It is hoped that the people who took part in events and those who gaze on this showcase of living diversity and beauty in the exhibition will want to learn more and become involved in the conservation and protection of our shared marine environment for all future generations.
